Question: My cash drawer doesn’t open when I tender using a  personal check.  Can I change this?

 Answer: Yes!  Please follow the steps below:

  • Log into TAM Office
  • Click Point of Sale.
  • Select Tenders. The Tenders window will be displayed.
  • Double click on the Check Tender .  The Tender Information window will be displayed.
  • Check the Open Cash Drawer option.
  • Click Update to save your changes.
  • The change will take effect immediately the next time TAM Cash Register is launched.
